UPDATE Father’s Day 2020: While negotiations were previously underway for Gilbert Fuentez to relinquish his parental rights to A.N. to avoid paying $84,000 in back child support, we have learned that S.N. is not giving up without fighting for her daughter.
Originally, in April 2020, a hearing was scheduled for the court to consider his termination of parental rights. He had already signed away his parental rights in 2016 to his son A.H., who has been raised by his step-father, to avoid paying child support and was attempting to do this again with A.N.
However, our news story has recently come to light to interested parties in Odessa, TX for this child support case and a fresh breath of air has resurrected this fight. As of July 10th, 2020, a pre-trial hearing is set to allow the court to consider new information in this case.
We wish S.N. and A.N. the best in their fight to make Gilbert Fuentez do what is right by his daughter and grandchild.

Gilbert Fuentez has a nearly 20 year, heavily documented history of infidelity, lying, using women and refusing to raise the children he has fathered. The following documents and links demonstrate a timeline that goes all the way back to the time he was 19 (he is now 38 years old) to demonstrate his cheating, lies, manipulation and overall unethical behavior.
He has lied to the co-worker and other women that he has never been married and had no children. This page is dedicated to providing proof to anyone who has been told these lies.
V.U.
Marriage and Divorce Records for Gilbert Fuentez in Ector County, TX
In January 2002, Gilbert Fuentez married V.U. and they were divorced in April 2004. He fathered no children with his ex-wife…..but he fathered two children outside this marriage during the same time as this marriage with V.U. This and the cheating is most likely why they divorced.

In December 2001, a daughter, A.N., was born to Gilbert Fuentez with another woman named S.N. The birth of A.N. occurred just 5 wks prior to his marriage to V.U. Yet, S.N. was apparently pregnant at the same time as he was engaged to V.U. It is unclear if V.U. was aware of this child at the time they married in January 2001. 2 pieces of logical evidence support that Gilbert Fuentez hid the birth of this child to S.N. from V.U. 1) It is not likely that V.U. would have continued the engagement/marriage knowing he cheated on her and fathered a child with another woman. 2) Until 2016, Gilbert Fuentez successfully hid that he had a daughter A.N. However, in 2016, S.N. found him through social media and had him served with a court order to submit a DNA sample, as he has consistently denied that A.N. was his child and that he had no knowledge of the child whatsoever. He refused to submit to a DNA sample for many weeks but then eventually did, and in December 2017, the results came back positive.
S.N. immediately took him to court for 16.5 yrs of back child support; somewhere around $84,000. He unsuccessfully fought this child support case and in late 2019, he surrendered his parental rights to A.N. to avoid paying child support.
The delay in relinquishing his parental rights were a result of A.N. finding herself pregnant in October 2018, and he’s stated that’s why decided to hold off on any court proceedings to allow her to give birth in July 2019. It was after he lost his job in Austin ISD in August 2019 and after a complaint was filed against him with the Texas Education Agency in September 2019 that he decided to do with his daughter what he did with his son, A.H., and relinquish parental rights so he would not be held accountable for child support.

G.H. and A.H.
Towards the 2nd year of marriage to V.U., he cheated on her again with a woman named G.H. and fathered a son named A.H. and this led to the divorce. He has described G.H. as “the love of his life” but he was not any more faithful to her as he was to his wife.
He seemed to be a doting dad for several years, until about 2010, and he has admitted to the co-worker that drugs and mental issues began a slide downhill for him. He still struggles and copes with these things today.
In July 2010, G.H. filed court orders to force Gilbert Fuentez to pay child support because he was refusing to pay on his own. Several more years of physical altercations, tension and other issues persisted between G.H. and Gilbert Fuentez, but the worst issue was him rarely coming to see his son or spend time with him.
In May 2016, G.H. began the process of severing parental rights from Gilbert Fuentez. A temporary restraining order was entered against Gilbert Fuentez in June 2016. Between back child support that he owed, the intense fights that he and G.H. had and him not really wanting anything to do with A.H., his parental rights were terminated with very little fight on his behalf. It also meant that he no longer needed to pay child support so he had more money available to buy drugs.
G.H. married another man and A.H. has a wonderful step-father who is there for him daily and providing a wonderful role model for A.H. G.H. is a strong, beautiful amazing mother and wonderful person.
