UPDATE August 16th, 2020: At approximately 4:40 pm on August 16th, 2020, Gilbert Fuentez reached out to this ex-girlfriend and was furious with her for communicating with our lead investigator. He had apparently read the story immediately after we posted it on August 15th, 2020, at approximately 12:45 pm, but had a delay in reaching out this ex-girlfriend.
He had apparently just left from visiting someone in another city and was driving home when he called this ex-girlfriend. He was extremely upset with her on the phone. He most likely told her lies to try to explain away this news story and his actions.
Rest assured, we have factually reported the information we received from this ex-girlfriend and from all sources we have received information from, including Gilbert Fuentez. We have also NOT reported on a wealth of information from 7 other sources, as they have expressed concerns for their or their families’ safety, which may also have a history of protective orders in the court system.

FIRST RELEASE:
There are 2 parts to this August 15th, 2020 update:
On July 30th, 2020, we were contacted by another former girlfriend of Gilbert Fuentez’ in the Waco area. They were in a relationship together from 2015 through 2017.
She had quite the story to tell of even more cheating and lies, even as he had begun a new relationship with R.R.. She told us they are still currently talking and texting with each other as of August 8th, 2020, although that may change once he reads this update.
Part 1:
On July 29th, 2020, he stated that he told her he was in the Waco area for the evening. She asked how he was doing and he told her that he “was struggling emotionally and mentally”.
She offered to come meet him while he was in Waco and have a few drinks with him, but he did not want her to show up where he was, so he did not tell her where he was at; presumably with T.W.
She offered to be a shoulder for him to seek comfort from and told him to come over and he agreed to come over to her house once he was done.
He propositioned her to buy him beer so they would have some to drink at her house.
However, he stated that it would be very late when he would be done with visiting T.W. when he would able to come to her home, somewhere in the timeframe of 12 midnight to 2am.
She stated that “they both knew what he wanted to happen if he came over” while they drank and spent the night together.
She stated that that would be too late for him to come over since she had work the next morning.
Part 2:
She told us quite a bit about their past relationship, his cheating and she echoed information we have already received about what happened with Chilton ISD.
She stated that she caught him once with a woman at his apartment when she showed up unexpectedly.
She stated that she did not recognize the woman, but that he gave her that woman’s name and that they used to work at Chilton H.S. together.
(This makes 4 confirmed women that Gilbert Fuentez has become romantically involved with through his place of employment. We are working on 2 new tips in the last few weeks to develop new information about new women we have not yet reported on)
She stated Gilbert Fuentez quickly shoved this woman out of the doorway, shut the door in his girlfriend’s face and then did not answer the door.
She stated that she went home and, a few minutes later, after driving fast and furious to her apartment, Gilbert Fuentez shows up there. She stated that she “did not buy his explanation”. He initially refused to leave her house and she had to warn him that she “was going to shoot his ass” if he didn’t leave.
She stated that she had to start “popping up unannounced” to his apartment and places he told her he would be because she knew he was lying alot to her.
She called him “a snake” and that “he was still up to his old antics” in trying to hook up with her the night of July 29th, 2020.
She stated that, once he moved to Ft Worth, he would text and call her and ask her to come up to visit him in Ft Worth.
She did visit him once in Ft Worth. The timeline of her visit overlaps with him being in a relationship with R.R. about 2 months along.
Gilbert Fuentez was still trying to keep her in a relationship with him even though he had begun a relationship with R.R. soon after he moved to Ft Worth.
She stated that Gilbert Fuentez once asked her to consider “having a threesome” with her; which was also reported as something he asked the Co-worker to do with him.
She echoed similar information that we learned from two San Angelo women who have shared their story with us but asked us to remain confidential since they are concerned for their safety. She stated that he would visit San Angelo frequently…..and that she was NOT ALLOWED to come with him.
(Not being allowed to go with him to visit his family and supposed “college buddy” friends has been echoed by all 9 women we have interviewed so far. V.L. wondered why, even after 9 years together, why she wasn’t allowed to meet his family or friends.)
However, she pressed the issue to “go with him to visit his old college buddy” that he was supposedly visiting in San Angelo, but that he refused and he stopped going to San Angelo for awhile.
The timeline of these events matches with the information we have received from 2 women in San Angelo who have had sexual encounters and brief relationships with Gilbert Fuentez throughout a large span of many years while he was visiting in from out of town.
She stated that Gilbert Fuentez was always trying to get her to pay his way and buy things for him. But, that she was not falling for it. That she had many honorable family obligations and they took priority over “some grown man with a career” who needed her to support him.
She stated he would “get upset with her for a day or two” when she told him no, but that he would come back around again; most likely to see what he could exploit and get out of her.
She was able to confirm some of the coaches’ names that we also spoke with in conducting interviews on his tense exit from Chilton ISD. She stated that she did not know the specifics but that Chilton ISD absolutely did not want him to remain in their district and did not renew his contract for the following year.
Unofficial information that we learned from coaching sources in Chilton ISD stated that he left “because he couldn’t get along with anybody for very long” and “rumors were starting to circulate in this small town about his behavior”. When we pressed for our source for more clarity on this, they stated that “rumors were going around that he was involved in drugs”, “that he almost got arrested once for it” and “that he was running around on several woman who were either teachers in both Robinson and Chilton ISD or women affiliated with either Robinson or Chilton ISD”. (J.D. is a former teacher colleague of his in the area also)
This former girlfriend from 2015 through 2017 voluntarily validated much this same story with information that we already had and without us even asking about this.
We appreciate her courage to stand up for herself and her family. We appreciate her serving in an honorable profession in her community. We appreciate her candid and, at times, painful memories that she suffered from at the hands of Gilbert Fuentez.
